- Toured two bourbon distilleries in Kentucky (Maker’s Mark and Woodford Reserve in May 2012)
- Walked through Mammoth Cave, the longest cave system known in the world, in Kentucky (May 2012)
- Went to Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton, Missouri (multiple times since I was a kid – it’s my favorite state park)
