  1. great list! i have been to most of those places in europe and they’re all pretty awesome. lol @ thinking alaska was an island but i see how the map is confusing 😉 i think i will do the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge as i already have the goal to read 50 this year. AND i have that beauty and the beast song stuck in my head now!

    • Thank you! I’m definitely looking forward to crossing Europe off my list. 🙂 I’m glad that you’re going to do the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge! I stumbled across that on someone’s blog and I really loved the idea, so I’m glad I was able to pass that along. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie – I couldn’t resist putting that song lyric up. 🙂

  2. Lovely list! I saw you stumbled upon my blog so I am now following yours =) seems we share some common interests! I’d love to try this 52 book challenge! Also- I live in Germany if you need a castle guide =)

    • Thank you! Yes, I came across your blog while doing a google search for 101 in 1001. 🙂 It does look like we have some things in common. I was really inspired by your kindness list. Thanks for the follow!

  6. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I followed yours and I’m looking forward to reading more. 🙂
Your 15, 18, 57, and 36 (completed, very fun!) are on my list too. And there are a few others that are really similar. 28 and 62 are good. I’ll have to consider adding them to mine.
    And you’re a Master’s student? I am too! What’s your program?

  7. LOVE your list! Full of great ideas… definitely jotting some down to add to my life goals 🙂

Thanks for coming to my blog! I am very new to blogging, it’s so exciting to meet like-minded people. Following you now!

ps. I went to Hobbiton in January. It was amazing!

  8. That’s some list all right! I am not sure if I can take up even a couple of them for the whole year… But I am inspired. I now want to set targets with expected dates of completion and I want to write them down, like you have done. But, I will not put them in my blog. I will keep them in my diary – secretly 🙂

  11. I love your list! So many of your items speak to me: I’m a huge fan of yoga (http://smilekiddo.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/52-experience-a-new-style-of-yoga/), I took a self-defense class in college (I got to practice on one of my best friends [and she on me] – it was pretty awesome), I’ve taken an oil painting class (it did not go well), I enjoy rock climbing when I get the opportunity to do it (which isn’t often), and I have a list of my own, too! (http://smilekiddo.wordpress.com/101-in-1001/) Super fun. Thank you for choosing to follow my “Smile, Kiddo” blog – I really appreciate it!

  12. Awesome list and idea. I had the chance to tour several castles when I studied abroad in London two years ago and it was my favorite part of the trip, they were just incredible. The Tower of London was one of my favorites! Good luck with finishing everything!

  13. Hello from another Christmas baby! This is a great list. I think I will add some of your ideas to my bucket list for 2014. Good luck and I look forward to reading about your progress.
